It has been a trying time for all of us here at Algoma Orchards and around the world. With the uncharted territory of trying to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, we are proud to say that Algoma Orchards has remained ahead of the curve with implementing new strategies within our facilities to combat COVID-19 and help stop the spread.
Beyond executing effective strategies within our plant, office, and store amongst all of our employees, we wanted to reiterate our store policies and procedures to help continue to keep our staff as well as our customers safe. This will in turn help stop the spread within our community. The following strategies have been enforced within Algoma Orchards Gourmet Market:
-We are following all protocols set forth by the province of Ontario and thus all customers who enter the store must wear masks. No exceptions.
-Our staff will monitor the number of patrons in-store at a time as to avoid overcrowding of areas. Please kindly respect our staff who are regulating lineups and store traffic.
-We are offering curbside pickup for customers who do not want to shop in-store but still wish to purchase items from our market. To place a scheduled pickup order, please call: 905-987-4961
-We are sanitizing all carts after each customer. We encourage all customers to sanitize their hands upon entering the store.
-We have installed barriers around our checkout counter to limit physical interactions between customers and our cashiers.
-We have marked lineup areas to ensure physical distancing continues in-store.
Everyone must continue to take precautions regarding COVID-19 and do their part as restrictions begin to ease. Please keep your families, friends, community, and our staff members in mind when visiting our store and kindly follow all precautions stated above to keep safe and help stop the spread.
