Feed the Need in Durham

Updated: May 15, 2020

Last September, Algoma Orchards donated 2500 apples to Durham Region's Feed the Need program. That is the maximum number of fruit allowed to be distributed as a perishable item. Algoma was thrilled to be a part of this very successful ongoing food drive helping families and kids in Durham Region, Ontario.

Algoma Orchard's co-owner Kirk Kemp is standing on a truck while lifting boxes of apple donations into the vehicle. There is another man in a fire marshall uniform who is also assisting him by passing the boxes.
